MONA FOMA (an acronym for Museum of Old and New Art: Festival Of Music and Art) is a music and arts festival held annually in January in Hobart and Launceston, Tasmania. The event is curated by Violent Femmes member Brian Ritchie, and is billed as Tasmania's largest contemporary music festival. The event showcases a broad range of art forms and performances.
